Ingredients: 

- 350g plain flour 

- 100g unsalted butter, softened 

- 175g brown sugar 

- 1 large egg 

- 4 tbsp golden syrup 

- 1 tsp baking powder 

- 1 tsp ground ginger 

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon 

- Pinch of salt 

  

Equipment:

- Baking tray 

- Parchment paper 

  

Method: 

  

1. Prepare the dough 

   In your Andrew James Stand Mixer, add the softened butter and brown sugar. Mix on medium speed until it becomes light and fluffy. The stand mixer will do all the hard work for you, so sit back and enjoy watching the magic happen!
