The Andrew James Halogen Oven can be used to cook everything you would in a conventional oven and is great for roasting, grilling, baking, frying and steaming. Using a halogen oven for food preparation reduces cooking times. The halogen oven bulb uses infrared technology to quickly heat the air inside the oven, which is then fan-circulated to cook food evenly without the need for additional fats or oils. This results in a healthier meal and preserves the natural nutrients and flavours of foods. There are loads of great halogen oven recipes online, so get creative in the kitchen!

Is a halogen oven cheaper to run?

Yes, as it heats up so quickly, there’s no need to preheat meaning overall the oven cooks up to 40% faster than a standard electric oven, this was tested with a whole 3lb chicken. It uses only 0.867 kWh at 200°C which over a year can save you as much as £40 compared to cooking with a standard electric oven, based on an average of 223 typical uses per year. However, you need to factor in the cost of replacement halogen bulbs.

Cooking with a halogen oven

The 1400 Watt oven boasts a huge variety of cooking functions including roasting, grilling, baking, frying, dehydrating and steaming. The analog control panel is very easy to use; simply select the cooking time and temperature and the oven starts! Alternatively, you can select one of the automatic settings for cooking food such as pizzas, rice, cakes and toast, or use it for defrosting or reheating food. The oven will automatically switch off and a signal will sound after the timer has reached zero.

To qualify for Next Day Delivery, please place your order before 2pm.

UK Bank Holidays: Orders placed before 2pm will be delivered two working days later.

Large & Bulky Items

Some larger products, including our BBQ range and other bulky items, are not eligible for Next Day Delivery. For these orders, our delivery partner will contact you directly to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Knife Sets

Knife sets are delivered separately via UPS and require a signature upon delivery. If you've ordered a knife set alongside other products, your knife set will be sent separately using Standard Delivery, while the rest of your order will be dispatched according to your selected delivery option.

Some deliveries may require a signature. If no one is available to receive your parcel and there isn't a safe place to leave it, the courier will leave instructions explaining how to rearrange delivery.

During checkout, you can provide delivery instructions (for example, "Leave with neighbour"). Please note that Andrew James cannot accept responsibility for parcels that are lost or stolen after being left in accordance with your requested delivery instructions.
